Book Review: The Wives by Tarryn Fisher

Blurb:

New York Times bestselling author Tarryn Fisher delivers a pulse-pounding, fast-paced suspense novel that will leave you breathless. A thriller you won’t be able to put down!

Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she’s so crazy about him.

But one day, she finds something. Something that tells a very different—and horrifying—story about the man she married.

What follows is one of the most twisted, shocking thrillers you’ll ever read.

My thoughts
Rating: 3 Stars ⭐

Wow!!!

I think I need a few days to let this story sink in.

Was Thursday telling the truth? Was Seth lying? Did he have three wives? Did Regina and Hannah set Thursday up? That ending? So many questions....

I must say this story kept my interest there were many surprises and I definitely did not see that ending coming. This review will be a short one because anything I say will spoil the book for others who may want to read it. But what I can say is that this story really spoke to the fact that sometimes love can lead to obsession and all women were obsessed with Seth.

The characters in this story are all broken mentally in some way made this somewhat a heavy read in my opinion. At several points in the story I had a really hard time trying to figure out who to believe, so at points it became a bit confusing.

Seth was a master manipulator. Wow!!! And Regina definitely was a woman scorned, my goodness and that ending.

Omg. I really hope I am making sense in this review today! This is just one of those books that has me on pause.
